This site is for

Everything related to Asterisk.org - the Asterisk Community Edition - releases of Asterisk, Libpri and Zaptel. You are welcome to add ideas and wishes to this site. First, you have to register an account, then contribute your idea as a posting.
- Search: Please first search the site and see if your idea is already filed here. The search box is on top of almost every page.
- Write: In the dashboard (which you enter after login) you select “Write” to add a new page. Use the web editor (doesn’t work properly in Safari yet, but in Firefox) or work in clean HTML. Don’t add spam, commercials for your products or ideas that are protected by patents or licensing.
- Categorize: File your article in a category on the right hand side. If we don’t have the proper category, make a note of that and the moderator will add one or file in the proper category for your article.
- Submit your idea for review by a moderator. The moderator will make sure it’s published, unless it’s a duplicate or known as an existing function.
- Discuss: Be prepared for a very open discussion. Make sure you log in frequently and handle feedback to your article.
- Expectations: Don’t expect anyone to code for you. If your idea is interesting for a coder, it might happen. Otherwise, you might consider adding a bounty and to see if others catch on. If you add a bounty - make sure your article is also categorized in the open bounties category. After discussion, you might even be interested and ready to code yourself. After all, this is a community-driven Open Source project.
If you have any problems, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info (at) edvina.net.
